The Meteorology Division (Samoa Meteorological Services) is a divisional branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), Government of the Independent State of Samoa.

The Division's mandate is the national "OFFICIAL SOURCE OF WARNINGS" for all Meteorological, Climatological, Geophysical Hazards for the Independent State of Samoa. [Disaster and Emergency Act 2007 and Section 6.3 National Disaster Management Plan 2011-2014].

OUR MISSION

To implement and utilize the principles of best practice in mainstreaming climate change adaptation and mitigation in the sustainable management of the country's natural resources and environment through partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
